The JO Academy offers training for students still studying at school.

City and Guilds and HABIA accredited and has achieved the IIP, J O Academy ensures you are qualified to the highest standard with a team of professional trainers that have excellent credentials gained from many years of practice. Mainly based in Norwich, we also have training facilities in Ipswich.

In order for us to achieve the highest standard, we continually evaluate our performance and invest in the latest equipment. Training and educational development will always remain a high priority at J O Academy, so as to ensure that we build upon our reputation, achieve our business objectives, and secure a prosperous future for both the company and all our staff.

In 2002 we became independent, providing NVQ, Key Skills and non NVQ hairdressing training and as we believe in our ability to educate fellow hairdressers, we opened these services to salons other than the John Oliver salons. In 2002 we started with 19 trainees and in 2006 we have 137, which include 45 school students who are working towards an NVQ to become our future hairdressers. The company has grown consistently over the past four years and will continue to expand with the experience and reputation that we have gained.
