Q. |
What is an NVQ? |
| |
A. |
NVQ stands for National Vocational Qualification. As the name suggests, it is based on how you do your job. The qualification is divided into units, each one being a specific area of your job-role. Once your assessor judges you to be competent in each area the unit is completed. When you have completed all the units you will have achieved your NVQ. |

That depends on you. The more you put into it the quicker you’ll finish. The average learner takes between 18 months and 2 years to complete a full framework. During this time you will be working you your salon, learning the trade from your employer and attending our training centre once a week. |
